AWANA Clubs
It’s fall again and AWANA Children’s Clubs are beginning! Get ready! Starting September 10th, Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm over one hundred kids, ages 3 to 6th grade get together to enjoy games, singing, Bible memory and meaningful stories! AWANA promotes character building and teaches sound values while giving children fun interaction and an opportunity to meet great friends. It’s going to be an eventful year! AWANA Clubs has been a successful after school club in the community for the last seven years at Grace Baptist Church. Come join in an exciting Children’s Club! Call 493-2597, or 493-1899 for more information.
First Time Clubber?
When a parent brings their child the first time to AWANA, the child can be registered for the appropriate club in the Church atrium (foyer) upon immediately entering the front of the Church complex. The parent(s) can feel free to observe and accompany their child to any event in the AWANA Club.
Staff
There are approximately 40 staff and helpers working with the children in the AWANA Clubs on any particular Wednesday evening. Scott Fies is the AWANA Commander.
Weekly Dues
For the continuation of the AWANA program we request each clubber to bring $1 per club or $20 for the AWANA Club year.
Three Different AWANA Clubs Together
There are three primary AWANA clubs that meet during the Wednesday club session. Each meets in designated areas at Grace Baptist Church with designated staff.
The "Cubbies" AWANA Club is specifically for children ages 3 and 4.
The "Sparks" AWANA Club is for children Kindergarten through 2nd Grade.
"Truth-in-Training" AWANA Club is for Girls and Boys grades 3 to 6.
Three Basic Events Each Club Night
The AWANA Children's Club Program each evening is divided into three basic parts, in one order or another:
1. Game time
Game time is full of fun filled games in our gym - many around the ingenious AWANA Circle!
2. Handbook Time

Handbook is a time where the children study and recite Scripture portions that they have learned.
3. Council Time
Singing, Stories, Object Lessons, and Awards for team and individual achievement
