SUGGESTED ORDER OF SERVICE:

• Welcome and Announcements

"Good Morning and Welcome to the Mid Columbia Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. My name is ______ , and it's a pleasure to be here with you today. I'd like to extend a warm greeting to guests and visitors who are with us. Thank you for coming… I'd like to direct your attention to the announcements in your order of service. Does anyone have other announcements to add?"

• Greeting of Friends and Neighbors

• Opening Words and Chalice Lighting (ring chime after speaking and lighting chalice)
• Song

• Sharing of Joys and Concerns

• Special Event (new member, “Pass it On”, etc) when scheduled

• Children’s Time (led by teacher for the children that day)
• Children’s Departure

• Responsive Reading (optional)

• Offertory (pass basket during performed or recorded music, 3-5 minutes)

Before: Now is the time for us to celebrate the abundance in our lives by sharing some of that bounty to support the good work of our Fellowship and of others. Half of the money received will be passed on to help meet needs we identify in our communities.

After: This offering is a sacred practice of our free faith and represents the generosity of all who join with us. I receive this offering in grateful appreciation of our shared hopes and values.
